Self Defense Training

Knowledge is power. If you’re interested in learning proper techniques for responding to a physical attack, USC offers two great resources for self-defense training.

Self Defense Classes for Women

The Department of Safety offers Rape Aggression Defense, or RAD training, is a free course for women that teaches realistic defense techniques, focusing on balance ease with effectiveness. Public courses are offered to everyone in the USC community, or you can organize a private group of 8 or more to complete the class.

For Credit Self Defense Class

The Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences offers a formal class that teaches physical techniques to manage and resolve conflict.
